New photonic functionalities based on integration of VCSELs and silicon nitride photonic circuits (collaboration with Meir Orenstein and Avi Zadok)

This project integrates for the first time the two most important photonic technologies of the last decade: silicon photonics (silicon nitride based) and VCSELs to form new functionalities not possible otherwise.
